A high-profile family based in Mayfair is seeking an experienced French-speaking ROTA nanny to care for their two boys, aged 4 and 1. This is a fully staffed household looking for a polished, organised nanny who is confident managing both sole and shared care and who understands the level of flexibility, discretion, and professionalism required in a rota position. The family is hoping to find someone warm, engaging, and genuinely hands-on — a nanny who can balance structure and routine with creativity, fun, and developmental support.
The role involves managing the children’s day-to-day routines, planning engaging activities, supporting imaginative play and early learning, and ensuring smooth transitions throughout the day. The ideal candidate will be confident travelling with the family, driving when needed, and maintaining excellent communication with both parents and household staff to ensure continuity of care between rota shifts. This is a 24/7 rota position while on duty, offering a salary of £70,000+ gross per year depending on experience. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide both sole and shared care for two boys aged 4 and 1
Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities and outings
Encourage imaginative play, learning, and developmental growth
Manage routines, schedules, naps, mealtimes, and transitions
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
Carry out light housekeeping related to the children
Maintain organisation of nursery areas, wardrobes, toys, and belongings
Travel with the family when required
Drive the children safely to activities, school, and outings when needed
Communicate closely with principals and household staff
Provide organised and thorough handovers between rota shifts to ensure consistency of care
