A busy family in Marina del Rey is seeking an experienced, dependable nanny to care for their two children, ages 2 and 4. The family is looking for someone who enjoys being actively involved in children’s lives, brings positive energy to each day, and can confidently balance childcare with light household support related to the children.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., offering $35 per hour. The afternoons are centered around school pick-ups, activities, play, and creating a smooth, enjoyable routine for the children. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and genuinely enjoys engaging young children through age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and independence. This role would suit someone who takes pride in keeping children’s spaces organized and helping a household run smoothly while maintaining a warm and nurturing presence.
Responsibilities:
School pick-ups and safe transportation to after-school activities and appointments
Planning and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, games, and creative play
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Children’s laundry, wardrobe organization, and seasonal clothing rotation
Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas, and shared family spaces tidy and organized
Running family errands as needed
Providing light household assistance related to the children and supporting the family’s daily routines
Maintaining open communication with parents regarding schedules, activities, and the children’s day
