Seeking a professional career nanny for a high profile family based in Malibu.
This full-time position guarantees 40 hours per week. The weekly schedule is as follows: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 PM to 6 PM. The family guarantees 40 hours of pay per week and would like the flexibility to occasionally trade out a weekday for a weekend day or have you come in later to stay later for an occasional date night. Pay rate ranging from $30 to $35/hr DOE. All payments will be made on the books, overtime and travel pay will be included.
The family frequently travels to Atlanta and requires the nanny to accompany them on multiple trips throughout the year. In addition, there may be occasions when the family travels without the children, and the nanny will be entrusted with their care during those periods.
The family consists of two delightful little girls ages 2 & 4. They are seeking a nanny who exudes energy, loves outdoor activities like beach visits and park outings, and has a passion for arts and crafts. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in child development and relevant experience in a similar professional role.
As transportation is a requirement, the nanny must have her own car and a spotless driving record. The family provides mileage pay to cover travel expenses. Alongside childcare responsibilities, the nanny will be expected to assist in maintaining tidy play areas, handle occasional grocery shopping, and assist with meal preparation. The parents are very hands-on and enjoy spending quality time with their children. They strive to create a collaborative environment where the nanny will be considered a third parent, jumping in wherever needed.
In terms of benefits, the position offers two weeks of guaranteed paid time off (PTO). Additionally, the family provides additional PTO when they travel with the children and do not require the nanny’s services.
