A family spending the summer in Lyon is seeking an experienced temporary nanny to help care for their two children, a 6-year-old and a toddler, alongside their existing nanny who will be travelling with the family. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional childcare provider who speaks native-level French and fluent English, and who enjoys working as part of a team to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities include providing daily care for both children, planning and accompanying them on age-appropriate activities and outings, encouraging language development by speaking with them in both French and English, preparing healthy meals, and ensuring their bedrooms and play areas remain clean, organised, and welcoming. The nanny will also supervise the children during swimming activities, maintain a high level of safety awareness at all times, and assist with the children’s laundry when required. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organised, and confident caring for children of different ages, with a positive and flexible approach to travel childcare. Accommodation can be provided if needed. The schedule will be 5 days per week, 9 hours per day. Salary starts at €30+ gross per hour, and applicants must be self-employed.
