A bi-coastal family is seeking an experienced Italian-speaking nanny to help care for their baby girl as they split their time between Los Angeles and New York City. The family travels extensively throughout the year — including trips to the Caribbean, Italy, Monaco, and other international destinations — so they are looking for someone flexible, organised, and excited to be part of a fully staffed, on-the-go household.
The ideal candidate will provide nurturing, age-appropriate care while supporting the baby’s developmental milestones through play, routine, conversation, and language immersion. The family would love to find someone who can naturally encourage Italian language development throughout the day while also staying on top of nursery organisation, meal prep, and child-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, developmentally focused care for an infant
Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate play and interaction
Encourage Italian language development through daily conversation and routines
Prepare healthy meals, bottles, and snacks for the child
Maintain nursery organisation, including toys, clothing, and baby supplies
Handle child-related laundry and nursery duties
Plan engaging activities, outings, and stimulating experiences appropriate for the child’s age
Travel extensively with the family, both domestically and internationally
Maintain routines and consistency while adapting to travel schedules and multiple residences
Create a calm, nurturing, and positive environment for the child at all times
This is a Monday through Friday role from 8am–8pm, with separate accommodation provided in all locations. Candidates must be passport-ready and comfortable with frequent domestic and international travel. The position offers a salary of $150,000 per year for the right fit.
