A family in Long Beach, New York is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their baby in a warm and collaborative home environment. The mother works from home and is looking for a nanny who is confident, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a shared-care arrangement.
The ideal candidate will provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care, supporting the baby’s early milestones through engaging and structured daily routines. Responsibilities include walks, outdoor time, playgroups, and attending local classes, along with creating a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, movement, and healthy development. As the child grows more active, the nanny should be flexible in adapting activities to match their changing needs.
Strong communication is essential in this role, with regular and open collaboration with the mother to ensure consistency and alignment in caregiving. Light child-related housekeeping is also expected to help maintain an organized and smooth daily routine.
This is a Monday–Friday position, approximately 40 hours per week between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, offering $30 per hour.
