A private family in Livingston, NJ is seeking a warm, patient, and experienced Live-In Nanny to care for three children, ages 3, 7, and 9. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting children on the autism spectrum, as the family’s 7-year-old has a diagnosis and benefits from a nurturing, structured approach.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for three children (ages 3, 7, and 9)
Offer supportive care for the 7-year-old, following routines and behavioral strategies recommended by parents and specialists
Assist with morning and bedtime routines
Prepare meals and snacks for the children
Transport children to school, appointments, and activities (must be a confident driver)
Supervise homework, after-school activities, and playtime
Maintain an organized and tidy environment for the children, including their bedrooms, play areas, and belongings
Handle children’s laundry and help maintain their wardrobes
Collaborate with parents to maintain structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement
Assist with occasional travel or overnights if needed (optional based on candidate availability)
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 40 – 50 hour work week guaranteed.
Hourly: $30 – $35 per hour
