Full Time Nanny for Infant – High-Profile Family, Laurel Canyon
A high-profile family based in Laurel Canyon is seeking an experienced and professional full-time nanny to provide exceptional care for their 8-month-old baby. This is a dynamic role suited to a highly adaptable nanny who is confident working within a fast-paced household and comfortable with schedule changes due to the parents’ demanding and unpredictable work commitments.
The ideal candidate will have extensive infant and toddler experience, a deep understanding of child development and developmental milestones, and a nurturing yet proactive approach to childcare. This position offers extensive domestic and international travel, making flexibility and organisation essential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive, high-quality care for an 8-month-old infant
Support and track developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities
Establish and maintain consistent daily routines, including feeding and sleep schedules
Plan and engage in enriching, developmentally appropriate play
Ensure the baby’s safety, wellbeing, and emotional security at all times
Assist with child-related housekeeping, including baby laundry, bottle preparation, and nursery organisation
Travel extensively with the family and adapt care routines while on the move
Provide occasional overnight care as required
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience caring for infants and toddlers in private households
Strong knowledge of early childhood development
Highly flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and hours
Comfortable working for a high-profile family with discretion and professionalism
Valid passport and willingness to travel extensively
Reliable, calm, and confident under pressure
Excellent communication skills and professional references
