We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-in Zuo Yue Zi/Chinese Postpartum Nanny to provide comprehensive care for a new mother and her newborn baby for a period of 3 months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of both the mother and baby during the crucial postpartum period. This role requires working 7 days a week, with accommodations provided on-site.

Responsibilities:

Provide round-the-clock care for the new mother and newborn, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Assist with breastfeeding support and guidance as needed.
Attend to the baby’s feeding, diapering, bathing, and other basic needs.
Monitor the health and development of both the mother and baby, promptly reporting any concerns to medical professionals or the family.
Offer emotional support and companionship to the new mother, fostering a nurturing environment conducive to her recovery and adjustment to motherhood.
Assist with light household tasks related to the care of the mother and baby, such as tidying up the nursery and laundering baby clothes.
Coordinate with the in-house chef to ensure proper nutrition for the mother, though no cooking duties are required.
Communicate effectively with the family and follow any specific instructions or preferences regarding the care of the mother and baby.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

Prior experience working as a Zuo Yue Zi/Chinese Postpartum Nanny, with a strong understanding of postpartum care practices and traditions.
Proficiency in English language to effectively communicate with the family and medical professionals.
Certification in infant CPR and First Aid preferred.
Ability to work 7 days a week for a period of 3 months, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the mother and baby.
Compassionate and nurturing demeanor, with a genuine passion for caring for newborns and new mothers.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be legally eligible to work in the respective location.
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience (DOE). Benefits such as accommodations and meals will be provided.
