A UHNW family based on Chicago’s North Shore (Lake Forest area) is seeking an experienced Career Nanny to support their three children, ages 5, 3½, and 7 months. The primary focus of this role will be the 5-year-old and 3½-year-old, as the infant has her own dedicated nanny.
This is a dynamic, travel-heavy position ideal for a polished, proactive professional who thrives in a high-level household and is confident supporting early childhood development, school readiness, and structured family life. The family is seeking a nanny who is organized, engaging, athletic, and capable of managing busy schedules while maintaining a warm and nurturing presence.
The family travels throughout the year to destinations such as Florida, Aspen, and Hawaii and is looking for someone flexible and highly organized to ensure seamless childcare and logistics during trips.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, educational, and engaging care for three young children (primary focus on the two older children)
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early childhood development
Communicate clearly with parents through daily updates, photos, and activity summaries
Manage school drop-offs and pick-ups
Support children’s schedules, after-school activities, and appointments
Prepare simple, healthy, family-style meals when appropriate
Assist with homework support, including math, technology, and science when age-appropriate
Maintain children’s wardrobes, updating clothing and shoes as needed
Organize and manage multiple calendars and schedules
Assist with reservations, errands, and light family support as needed
Proactively manage and monitor screen time in alignment with parental guidelines
Enjoy engaging children in board games and interactive activities
Confident swimmer and comfortable participating in water activities
Comfortable skiing and participating in outdoor family activities
Travel Responsibilities:
Prepare for domestic travel throughout the year
Pack and unpack children’s belongings
Organize passports, medical information, and travel documents
Plan engaging games, activities, and experiences during trips
Ensure children are happy, occupied, and thriving while away from home

Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 annually (DOE)
