We are seeking a professional Nanny/ Mothers Helper for a live-out, full time position in La Jolla, CA.
Children’s ages are 2 & 7
Responsibilities include; providing a high standard of care within a semi-formal environment, following an already established routine and schedule, meeting the daily needs of the children with a safety first mindset.
Duties include; Assisting with the children’s day-to-day schedules, after school pick up and driving to activities (car provided), engaging in playtime and reading, maintaining and organizing the children’s rooms and play areas, assist with laundering and ironing of the children’s clothing, and general overall family support to ensure all the children’s needs are being met. In addition, help the mother with daily needs and special requests.
The ideal candidate exudes quiet professionalism. Must be calm, patient and nurturing as well as respectful, honest, creative, responsible and highly organized. Excellent time management and communication skills are required. There is other household staff in the home, must work well in a team environment.
International travel will be required.
The schedule offers full time employment with 2 days off per week, working days and hours vary. Schedule flexibility is required.
Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional childcare experience and preferably experience traveling with a family. Must have an excellent driving record and background report.
