A family based in Konstanz, Germany is seeking a live-in nanny to care for their two children, aged 5 and 7. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (45–50 hours per week), with responsibilities focused on childcare and light household management during school hours. The family would prefer a native English speaker, although German speakers are also welcome. The most important requirement is that candidates hold valid EU working rights.
Day-to-day duties include supervising homework, managing school runs, and driving the children to after-school activities. The role also involves preparing simple, healthy meals for the children, handling kids’ laundry, and ensuring their belongings and spaces are kept organized. During school hours, some light household support related to the children is expected. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and confident balancing structure and warmth in a busy family routine, with occasional travel required.
A separate studio accommodation is provided for the nanny. The position offers a salary of €5,000 gross per month.
