A high profile family based in Knightsbridge, London is seeking an experienced live-in nanny to care for their two children, aged 5 years and 1 year old. This is a long-term position for a professional, nurturing nanny with a strong understanding of early years development and a genuine passion for supporting children through important developmental stages. The family employs a full-time housekeeper who manages laundry and nursery-related tasks, allowing the nanny to focus fully on the children’s care, routines, learning, and overall wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, engaging, and confident creating a structured yet fun environment for both children. Responsibilities include supporting age-appropriate milestones, planning stimulating activities and outings, encouraging learning through play, and maintaining consistent routines throughout the day. The family travels regularly within the UK and internationally, so flexibility and previous travel experience are essential.
This is a full-time live-in role working Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm. The family is looking for someone polished, organised, and discreet who can seamlessly work within a fully staffed household while bringing warmth, consistency, and professionalism to the role.
Requirements:
Proven experience caring for infants and young children in a nanny role
Strong understanding of early years development and child development milestones
Previous experience in a fully staffed or high-profile household preferred
Confident planning educational activities, outings, and engaging play
Comfortable supporting routines for children of different ages
Flexible and experienced with UK and international travel
Professional, discreet, organised, and proactive
Valid passport and ability to travel freely
Excellent references and long-term commitment preferred
