A family in Kensington is seeking a proactive full-time nanny to care for their two boys aged 2.5 and 4 years. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and thrives in creating a structured, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages the children to grow, learn, and reach age-appropriate milestones. The nanny will play a key role in supporting early learning, reading and writing skills, positive behavior, and overall developmental growth, while maintaining clear routines, boundaries, and consistency. Working closely with mum, the nanny will take initiative in planning daily activities, educational play, outings, and after-school commitments. Key responsibilities include nursery and school drop-offs and pick-ups (a 5-minute walk from home), managing morning routines, preparing snacks and lunches, and organising school bags. The nanny will encourage learning through age-appropriate activities, reading support, arts and crafts, and positive behavior guidance, as well as plan and supervise a variety of outings, classes, after-school activities, and sports to keep the children engaged and active. Additional duties include full child-related housekeeping, such as laundry, wardrobe organisation, toy rotation, sourcing educational and creative materials, coordinating child-related scheduling, preparing nutritious meals for the children and family (roughly twice per week), and light household support including errands and unpacking grocery deliveries. The role requires someone confident in maintaining structure, routines, and manners, while also bringing creativity and enthusiasm to the children’s daily experiences. This is a Monday to Friday position, 7:30am–6:30pm, starting end of February/March 2026. Salary is £65,000 gross per annum.
