Our client is looking for a live in Nanny Governess to join their family in Kensington. As the children are in full time school, there will be lots of down time during the day. That can change during the school holidays though with more hours. Mum and dad live separately so the children will alternately weekly between the two homes. The Nanny Governess will live in a separate 2 bedroom apartment which is a 10 min walk from the homes.
The family also want the Nanny Governess to accompany them on holidays – 1 week in Switzerland in February, 10 days in April to another destination, one month in the summer in France with dad and 10 days with mum, 1 week in October abroad – the family will fly in a weekend nanny so the Nanny Governess can have the weekends off while abroad.
The home is fully staffed with a chef and Housekeeper – no cooking or housekeeping duties are required.
Accommodation: Lovely 2 bedroom apartment which is a 10 min walk from the family homes
General duties:
Get the children ready for school in the mornings
Helping the children get ready and make sure they have had breakfast
School drop and pick up (some take the bus others need to be driven)
Checking any school correspondence and making sure the children have everything they need
Making sure the children’s bags are ready for the next day
Take to after school activities
Home work support and supervision
Making sure the children have dinner
Travelling with the family when needed
Candidate requirements:
Experience within a similar role with similar aged children
Pet friendly – dad has a small dog
Strong personality, dynamic and a good sense of humor
Someone organised with a good attention to detail
Flexibility to travel with the family
Driving licence is essential – car for use while on duty (automatic)
Monday to Friday – 6:45am to 7:30pm/8pm (with down time during the day when the children are at school)
