A lovely family based in Kensington is seeking a highly qualified and experienced nanny to care for their 8-month-old baby girl. The family is specifically looking for a professional nanny with a strong childcare background, ideally Norland, NNEB, or CACHE LEvel 3, who is confident in supporting infant development and creating a calm, structured, and nurturing environment.
This role is best suited to someone who truly understands early years development and enjoys being fully hands-on during the baby stage. The family values consistency, gentle routine-building, and thoughtful engagement through play and everyday interactions. They are looking for someone warm, highly experienced, and proactive who can take full responsibility for the baby during the working week while working in close partnership with the parents.
Responsibilities:
Providing full daily care for an 8-month-old baby girl
Supporting all developmental milestones through age-appropriate, engaging activities
Establishing and maintaining consistent feeding, sleep, and daily routines
Planning enriching, development-focused play and sensory experiences
Supporting weaning and introducing nutritious, age-appropriate meals
Preparing bottles and managing feeding schedules
Keeping all nursery and baby-related spaces clean, organised, and well maintained
Managing baby laundry and ensuring clothing and essentials are always organised
Taking the baby on walks, outings, and local activities suitable for her age
Monitoring development and communicating regularly with parents
Maintaining a calm, safe, and nurturing environment throughout the day
Requirements:
Norland, NNEB, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent professional childcare qualification
Extensive experience caring for infants under 1 year
Strong understanding of early years development and routines
Professional, reliable, and confident sole-charge nanny experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–7:00pm
Start Date: End of August
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 DOE
