A family based in Kensington is looking for an experienced, Italian-speaking nanny to join their established childcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative household and brings both confidence and warmth to their role. The family has two young boys, aged 2 years and 5 months, so they’re looking for a nanny who is comfortable caring for both a toddler and an infant, and who genuinely understands the different rhythms and needs of each stage.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and happy to be hands-on with all aspects of childcare, while also bringing the added benefit of Italian language exposure into the children’s daily life. This is a travel-friendly role, as the nanny will be expected to accompany the family on trips, both in the UK and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for two boys aged 2 years and 5 months
Support daily routines including feeding, naps, sleep schedules, and playtime
Encourage early development through age-appropriate activities, reading, and play
Introduce and maintain Italian language exposure throughout the day
Plan engaging activities, outings, and learning experiences for both children
Manage nursery duties including children’s laundry and organisation of belongings
Maintain clean, tidy, and well-organised play and nursery areas
Travel with the family as required, both domestically and internationally
Work closely with parents and the childcare team to ensure consistency and smooth routines
Create a calm, nurturing, and structured environment for both children
Position Details:
Based in Kensington, London
Tuesday–Saturday, up to 55 hours per week
Live-in or live-out option available
Salary: £50K gross (live-in) or approx. £65K gross (live-out)
Must be comfortable travelling with the family
