A private international family is seeking a polished and highly educated Live-In Governess / Tutor to support two young girls enrolled in the IB curriculum. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced educational professional who is passionate about academic development, language refinement, and working within a fully staffed private household. The role is based between Dubai, Kazakhstan, London, and additional international travel locations, with accommodation fully provided and a highly competitive salary package offered.
The primary focus of the position is supporting the children’s academic progress while fostering confidence, structure, and strong communication skills through daily interaction in excellent spoken English. The family places particular importance on refined RP English pronunciation and presentation. The Governess will work closely with the girls on school support, educational enrichment, organisation, and creating a calm, engaging learning environment that complements their IB education and international lifestyle.
This role requires a discreet, organised, and adaptable candidate who is comfortable traveling frequently and working weekends, with one weekday provided off each week. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, professionalism, and a strong educational background, along with the ability to seamlessly integrate into a private family environment while maintaining high standards and clear boundaries.
