A private family in Jersey City is seeking a nurturing, dependable nanny, with strong infant experience and a genuine passion for early childhood development, to care for their 6-month-old baby. The family is looking for someone attentive, engaging, and confident supporting a baby’s daily routines while creating a calm and stimulating environment.
Responsibilities include full infant care throughout the day, including feedings, naps, diapering, playtime, and developmentally appropriate activities that encourage healthy growth and milestone progression. The nanny will also track feedings, diaper changes, and sleep schedules, while incorporating daily outdoor time such as stroller walks and fresh air whenever weather permits. Additional duties include tidying play areas, managing baby laundry, washing and sterilizing bottles, and assisting with light meal prep and cleanup as solids are introduced.
The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and experienced in infant care, with a warm and engaging personality that helps build a positive and trusting relationship with both the baby and parents.
This position is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
$28–$32 per hour is offered for the right long-term fit.
