Norland Nanny – Jersey, Channel Islands
A private family based in Jersey, Channel Islands is seeking an experienced Norland Nanny to provide exceptional care and early childhood development support for their two young children aged 2 years and 10 months.
This is a long-term role suited to a highly professional nanny with a strong background in early years education, who can create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment while working collaboratively with the parents.
Key Responsibilities
Managing daily routines, including developmental play, learning, and socialisation
Organising and maintaining play areas, rotating toys, and planning age-appropriate activities
Supporting nursery drop-offs and pick-ups on designated days
Preparing and serving nutritious, healthy meals and snacks, including occasional batch cooking for the family
Planning engaging outings, classes, and activities to encourage exploration and social interaction
Providing regular updates with photos and sharing insights into the children’s development
Monitoring and highlighting developmental milestones or concerns to parents
Supporting positive behaviour boundaries, emotional regulation, and independence
Occasional evening babysitting, with flexibility for overnight proxy care or short weekends when required
Creating a calm, structured, and enriching environment that promotes good manners and confidence
Ideal Candidate Profile
Norland-trained Nanny with proven experience in early childhood development
Confident and safe driver (essential)
Professional, organised, and proactive
Flexible and comfortable with occasional travel
Warm, discreet, and collaborative in a private household setting
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
Accommodation: Live-in or Live-out (flexible)
