This VVIP family in Jeddah is looking for a career French speaking nanny to look after their 4 1/2 year old boy (the family also have a 2 year old daughter who has own nanny so there is an element of team work). The position will vary depending on where they are but nanny duties. The ideal candidate would have worked in the Middle East before or have a good understanding of the middle eastern culture – the family are from Jeddah and spend few months a year there, usually 1-2 months at a time, and then 1-3 months in European/US destination. You will have your own room and bathroom in Jeddah and London but will need to share a room with the little boy when in Switzerland. Junior candidates will be considered as the family is not looking for the perfect CV but a great personality, someone caring, loving and who truly sees childcare as a career. Driver is a bonus but not a must (mainly for Switzerland). There are no pets in the house. The nanny will speak to the little boy in French.
The boy attends full time school so there is a lot of downtime during the day (as long as basic nursery duties are taken care of).
Duties – all child related duties (no laundry, no cooking unless in Gstaad) – mostly organising his room/belongings etc
ocation: up to 50% of the year in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (usually 1-2 months at a time, sometimes less) + 50% Switzerland (Usually 3 months Jan – March every year) & UK + other international travel (including USA in the summer))
Languages: French (Must) + good English
Work hours: 6 days per week (full days on weekends), 12 hours per day (flexible depending on the family’s needs – downtime during School time)
