First-time parents based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia are seeking an experienced Western Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist to support them with their baby, who is due in early September. This is a live-in position within a fully staffed household, offering the opportunity to work closely with the family during the newborn stage while providing expert guidance and reassurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the parents with feeding, sleep shaping, establishing healthy routines, and all aspects of newborn care and education during the first few months. The schedule will consist of 24-hour coverage, six days per week, for the first two months, followed by one month of 12-hour shifts. As a dedicated assistant will be responsible for all nursery-related duties, the focus of this role is on newborn expertise, parental coaching, and ensuring a smooth transition into parenthood. Previous experience working in the Middle East is highly preferred, along with excellent newborn references and a calm, professional approach. Flights, visa costs, accommodation, and meals will be provided by the family. The rate is £450 per 24-hour shift.
