A warm, humble, high-profile family based between Jackson, Wyoming and Boulder, Colorado, are seeking a long-term career nanny for their 2-month-old. They are open to meeting with both local and out of state candidates. The schedule will typically be 10am-6pm, Monday through Friday.
The parents are seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, confident, and easy-going nanny who is happy to work as a team with them- they both work from home but are involved parents. They want to do diaper changes, enjoy snuggle time when the baby is awake, and generally spend time with him whenever work permits. They would therefore appreciate an intuitive candidate who is willing to be proactive and take themselves off and do the dishes or fold the baby’s clothes, check his diaper count or walk the dog- whatever needs to be done to keep the household running when the parents want to enjoy some family time. The ideal candidate will also align with their favored parenting philosophy- RIE- and will be gentle, respectful, and calm. This is a chemically sensitive household and candidates who are proponents of conscious/sustainable living (e.g. eating organic food wherever possible, not wearing perfume or acrylic nails, using fragrance-free detergent, etc.) will thrive best in this role. Though there is a both a chef and a housekeeper, candidates must be willing to prep food and snacks for the child in due course, as well as manage his laundry, as required.
The family travels frequently, so candidates should be open and willing to accompany them. They will be In Mexico for the months of January and February 2023, for example, and will travel to Toronto, LA, New York and further afield as the baby gets older. There is a small, friendly and hypoallergenic dog in the home, so candidates must be pet-friendly. The family require candidates to be up to date on all vaccines, including T-dap and COVID. A clean driving record and current driving license are essential (the family can provide a car for use on duty). Native French language skills are a huge plus. An excellent compensation package is being offered to the successful candidate, consisting of $45-$50 per hour and full benefits.
