ROTA Nanny (Live-In) – Jackson Hole, WY | $125,000–$150,000+ DOE | 1 Week On / 1 Week Off
A high-profile family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming is seeking a warm, experienced, and highly organized Rotational (ROTA) Nanny to care for two young children, ages 2 and 5. This is a live-in position requiring a 1 week on / 1 week off rotation, with full responsibility during working weeks, including being on-call 24/7 while on duty.
The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development and comfortable working within a home that follows a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, encouraging curiosity, independence, and creative learning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive, developmentally focused care for two children (ages 2 & 5)
Support daily routines including morning, before/after school care, meals, and bedtime
Maintain a nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment aligned with the Reggio Emilia philosophy
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
Handle light household duties related to the children, including:Tidying and organizing children’s rooms and play areas
Rotating toys and maintaining learning spaces
Coordinate and accompany children to activities, appointments, and outings
Plan engaging, age-appropriate developmental activities
Occasional family errands related to the children
Travel with the family throughout the year, both domestically and internationally
Collaborate with parents and other household staff to ensure consistency and continuity of care
Schedule & Compensation
Rotation Schedule: 1 week on / 1 week off
Live-in required during working weeks (The family is open to candidates who will fly in/out.)
On-call 24/7 during active rotation
Salary: $125,000 – $150,000+ annually (DOE), with potential for additional benefits depending on experience
Ideal Candidate
Experienced professional nanny with strong background in childcare (infant/toddler and early school-age)
Training or education in child development, early childhood education, or child psychology strongly preferred
Familiarity with or interest in Reggio Emilia or similar child-led learning philosophies
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage dynamic routines
Comfortable traveling extensively with a private family
Calm, flexible, and confident in a fully engaged, live-in role
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents
