A family based in Islington is seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN nanny to support their 6-year-old son. This role would suit a nanny with previous experience working with children with special educational needs and a genuine passion for helping children thrive. Responsibilities include school pick-up, providing attentive care, supporting the child’s individual needs, and encouraging independence in a positive and nurturing environment. The nanny will organise engaging age-appropriate activities, assist with routines, prepare snacks and meals when required, and help maintain consistency throughout the week. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to build a trusting relationship with both the child and his family. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child’s daily life while joining a warm and supportive household. The position starts in August and runs Monday to Friday from 2pm to 7pm. The salary is £22 gross per hour.
