A friendly family based in Islington (N1) is looking for a warm, experienced French-speaking nanny to care for their two young children, a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old baby. The family is hoping to find someone who can bring calm energy, structure, and genuine care into their home, while also naturally incorporating French into the children’s daily routine.
This role is very hands-on and best suited to someone who truly enjoys the baby and toddler stages. The focus will be on creating a nurturing, engaging environment where both children can thrive, with plenty of attention given to routines, early development, and gentle stimulation. The family values a nanny who is confident managing both age groups at once, while keeping things organised, relaxed, and developmentally focused throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
Providing full daily care for a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old baby
Speaking French throughout the day to support natural language immersion
Supporting developmental milestones for both children through age-appropriate play and interaction
Managing daily routines including naps, feeding, meals, and transitions
Planning engaging activities for the toddler and gentle sensory play for the baby
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Supporting weaning and bottle/feeding routines for the baby
Taking the toddler to local outings, parks, and play-based activities
Keeping children’s bedrooms, nursery, and play areas clean, tidy, and organised
Managing children’s laundry and ensuring everything is well organised and ready for the day
Working closely with parents to maintain consistency in routines and development goals
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
Salary: £52,000 gross per year
