Family in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced afternoon nanny to support their six-year-old son. This position is childcare-focused and best suited for a nanny who values empathy, emotional intelligence, and collaborative communication. Must be comfortable working in a household where parents work from home.
Responsibilities
School pickup and transportation
Homework support and academic encouragement
Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities (art, play, sports exposure)
Preparing simple dinners for the child and packing school lunches
Encouraging flexibility, creativity, and emotional expression
Light child-related housekeeping
Maintaining clear communication with parents
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–6:30pm (20 guaranteed hours per week)
Compensation: $28-30/hour DOE
