A family in Huntington Beach is seeking a full-time nanny for their two children, ages 4 and 2. This is a hands-on childcare role for someone who enjoys keeping young children engaged, active, and on a consistent daily routine. The nanny will take the children to preschool, manage drop-offs and pickups, and plan age-appropriate activities that support their learning, development, and growing independence.
A confident driver is essential, as the nanny will use driving as part of the children’s daily routine and activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, energetic, nurturing, and comfortable caring for two young children at the same time.
Duties:
Provide attentive, hands-on care for two children, ages 4 and 2
Handle preschool drop-offs and pickups
Drive the children to activities, outings, and appointments as needed
Plan and lead age-appropriate play, outings, and educational activities
Support daily routines, including meals, snacks, naps, and transitions
Encourage the children’s development, independence, and social skills
Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
Keep children’s areas, belongings, and activity spaces tidy
Communicate with parents about the children’s daily routines and activities
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–6:30 PM
$32–34 per hour
