We are looking for a gentle and motherly nanny to help a busy single Mum with her toddler and a new arrival due in August. The toddler is in full time nursery from 8 to 4.30 and the role will initially be to keep him organised and support him to achieve all his developmental milestones. He is a happy little boy, but needs some help with adjusting his sleep routine at present as he is waking up very early.
Mum intends on breast feeding the new arrival, and the role will then change to helping with the baby whilst the toddler is at nursery. Intention for baby to attend nursery when 9 months old. Mum is looking for someone who will become part of the family and stay with them for the long term as a constant and support them when mum goes back to work.
Accommodation: Own Bedroom , shared Bathroom in the house
General duties:
All childcare duties for the 3 year old toddler
Nursery duties for the children
Some Maternity care duties for the baby on occasion to give Mum a break
Overseeing the bed and bath routine
Speaking to the toddler in Spanish
Arranging play dates and classes
Candidate requirements:
Experience with new-borns and toddlers
Sleep training experience
Maternity nurse background would be ideal
Must speak Spanish
Must be a confident driver
Location: Hove, East Sussex
Salary: pa, gross, £40,000 – £50,000
Working Days: 7-7pm, 5 day week of 50 hours , to work weekends, days off Mon / Tues
