First-time Parents in the Memorial Villages area are seeking to hire a Rotational Nanny who will work 7 days on, 7 days off (will live-in on their weeks on and live at their own home on the weeks off). Nanny will care for a baby boy both during the day and for overnights. Both parents work full-time and own their own business.
Duties include:
- Provide all care, including dressing, changing, feeding/preparing child’s meals, bathing, putting down for naps and bedtime, overnight feedings (including burping, changing, soothing, sleep training), etc.
- Engage the baby in indoor and outdoor, age-appropriate activities to hit developmental milestones, such as tummy time, books, music, walks, play, games, park, activities, etc.
- Keeping the common areas and baby’s areas tidy (e.g., wiping down counters, loading/unloading dishwasher, clean/sterilize bottles, doing child’s laundry), regularly cleaning and putting away toys
- Keeping supplies stocked and letting employer know when things are getting low
The ideal candidate will be:
- Extensively experienced, confident, and capable with newborns and babies
- Safety-minded, and well-versed in newborn health, safety, and hygiene practices; administer medications or follow medical routines as prescribed by healthcare professionals as needed, and observe and promptly report any signs of illness or discomfort to the parents
- Knowledgeable about the developmental steps and milestones of babies through school-age children; monitoring progress and implementing age-appropriate activities to stimulate the baby’s sensory and cognitive development; eventually implementing educational activities and curriculum
- Able to travel frequently with the family as requested – passport required
- Discreet, respecting the family’s privacy and confidentiality (NDA required)
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000/yr
