A lovely family based in Holland Park is seeking an experienced sole charge nanny/governess to care for their 8-year-old daughter in a long-term term-time-only role starting in early September. This position would suit a professional nanny or governess with a strong educational background and fluent English, ideally with previous experience working in a school or academic setting. The role combines traditional nanny duties with educational support, including helping with homework, liaising with teachers and parents, arranging playdates and after-school activities, and supporting the child’s overall learning and development in a structured yet nurturing environment. Responsibilities will also include keeping the child’s clothes, school equipment and belongings organised and well maintained. The family travels extensively during school holidays and does not require the nanny to accompany them, making this an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a stable term-time-only schedule in a fully staffed and respectful household. The nanny will work Monday to Friday from 3pm to 9pm. Salary is £35,000+ gross per annum depending on experience.
