A family based in Highbury is seeking a caring, experienced, and energetic nanny to look after their happy 1-year-old daughter. The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers and can provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where their child can continue to grow and thrive.
The role will involve all aspects of childcare, including planning engaging activities, supporting developmental milestones, preparing healthy meals and snacks, maintaining routines, and ensuring the child has plenty of opportunities for learning and exploration throughout the day. The nanny will also be responsible for attending baby and toddler classes, organising outings to local parks and playgroups, and encouraging social development through age-appropriate experiences. All nursery duties are included, such as managing the child’s laundry, keeping toys and play areas organised, and maintaining the child’s bedroom and belongings. The ideal candidate will be warm, proactive, reliable, and confident taking initiative while working closely with the parents. Previous experience caring for children of a similar age is essential.
The position is Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family is offering £20–£22 gross per hour, depending on experience.
