A lovely family based in Hammersmith is looking for an experienced Italian-speaking Nanny to support their three children, aged 10, 8, and 6, in a part-time after-school role. The family is hoping to find someone warm, organised, and confident managing busy afternoons while creating a calm and positive atmosphere at home. This role would suit a nanny who enjoys building genuine connections with children and naturally balances structure, care, and fun.
Italian language exposure is an important part of the role, so the family is looking for someone who will speak Italian naturally with the children through conversation, reading, games, and everyday routines. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to guide the children with kindness and consistency, helping reinforce routines, independence, and good habits while keeping afternoons running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
School pick-ups and supervision after school
Help take the children to and from appointments and activities
Supervise homework and support learning routines
Reinforce the learning of Italian through reading, conversation, games, and daily interaction
Encourage positive behaviour and reinforce house rules using a star chart system
Support the children in preparing their school and sports bags for the following day
Prepare dinner for the children and tidy the kitchen after use
Assist with bath/shower time and help keep the bathroom tidy afterwards
Create a calm, engaging, and organised after-school environment
Requirements:
Native or bilingual Italian speaker
Previous experience in a similar nanny role
Organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple children
Strong communication skills and a positive approach to childcare
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–7:30pm
Position Type: Part-Time After-School Nanny
Salary: £30,000 gross per annum
