A family in Greenwich, CT, is looking for a warm and experienced French-speaking nanny to care for their 2-year-old daughter. The nanny will take responsibility for her daily care and help create a happy, engaging routine that supports her development and growing independence.
Daily duties will include preparing meals and snacks, managing hygiene, naps, and routines, and keeping the child’s belongings and play areas organised. The family would like the nanny to speak French with their daughter throughout the day and make the language a natural part of her everyday routine. Reading, singing, sensory play, outdoor time, and local outings will form an important part of the week. The nanny should be comfortable planning age-appropriate activities that encourage language, social, physical, and cognitive development. A calm and nurturing approach is important, along with the ability to keep the child’s routine consistent while responding to her changing needs.
Valid U.S. work authorisation is required. A valid passport is also required for occasional travel with the family. CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification is preferred. This is a live-out position, and no housing is provided. The schedule is Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week. The salary is $100,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
