A family based on the Gold Coast, Australia is looking for an experienced and caring live-in nanny to look after their two girls, aged 4 and 6. The role involves all aspects of childcare, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, taking the children to extracurricular activities, planning educational activities and outings, preparing meals and snacks, and managing the children’s laundry. The family is also looking for someone who is happy to travel internationally with them from time to time and who can provide some light household assistance related to the children.
The position is Monday to Friday, generally 7am to 7pm, with a break during school hours. A separate studio is provided on the property, offering the nanny their own private space. A full driver’s licence is required, with a car provided for work and childcare-related activities.
Applicants must hold a Blue Card, National Police Check, First Aid and CPR certification.
Please note that applicants must already have the legal right to work in Australia, as visa sponsorship is not available.
The salary is $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
