RIE or Montessori Nanny for Infant in Glen Park, San Francisco
A thoughtful family in Glen Park, San Francisco is seeking an experienced RIE- or Montessori-trained nanny to care for their 5-month-old baby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional nanny with a strong background in early childhood education who values respectful, developmentally appropriate care and enjoys creating a calm, nurturing environment for infants.
The family is looking for a nanny who is highly engaged, hygiene-conscious, and confident supporting early milestones through intentional play and routine.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for a 5-month-old infant
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities aligned with RIE or Montessori principles
Actively engage the baby through play, reading, and interaction
Prepare bottles and baby-friendly meals as appropriate
Support healthy sleep and daily routines
Handle family laundry and light tidying related to the household
Maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation
Travel occasionally with the family as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Background or training in early childhood education
Experience with RIE and/or Montessori philosophies
Strong infant care experience
Detail-oriented, hygiene-focused, and highly reliable
Flexible and open to occasional travel
Schedule & Compensation:
4 or 5 days per week
40–45 hours per week
$38–$42 per hour, depending on experience
