Travel Nanny – Geneva, Switzerland
A professional, proactive, and adaptable Travel Nanny is sought by a dynamic family in Geneva, Switzerland, to provide exceptional care for their three children: a 3-year-old, a 10-year-old, and a newborn arriving in May 2026. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting blend of in-home childcare in Geneva and international travel to locations such as New York and Tel Aviv for several months each year. The ideal candidate is experienced, highly organized, and comfortable managing children of varying ages, from infants to school-aged children, while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
The nanny will be responsible for the overall well-being of all three children, ensuring that routines, schedules, and developmental milestones are met while providing age-appropriate engagement, play, and educational support. Key responsibilities include planning and implementing creative, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate activities for each child, supporting school-aged and toddler routines, managing daily schedules, and promoting positive behavior. The newborn will require attentive care, including feeding, diapering, monitoring sleep, and engaging in early developmental activities, while the older children will require guidance with homework, recreational activities, and extracurricular coordination. The nanny will also assist with travel preparation, pack children’s luggage, and accompany the family on domestic and international trips, ensuring consistency of care in different environments.
In addition to childcare, the Travel Nanny will assist with light household coordination related to the children, such as organizing play areas, managing laundry, and supporting mealtime preparation. The role demands excellent communication skills to keep parents informed of daily routines, milestones, and any needs or concerns. Candidates must be independent, adaptable, and able to work effectively within a highly professional household, balancing flexibility with reliability.
Applicants must hold an EU passport or a valid Swiss work permit, have checkable references, and have their own accommodation in Geneva. Experience with children of multiple ages, particularly newborns, and previous travel nanny experience are highly valued.
The position offers 40 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional weekends.
Compensation is CHF 32 per hour.
