A lovely family based in Geneva, Switzerland is seeking an experienced Russian-speaking Nanny to care for their happy and active 2-year-old child. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional nanny who enjoys building strong relationships with children and becoming a valued part of a family’s daily life. The position is fully legal and paid entirely on the books, so applicants must hold either EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit.
The family is looking for someone warm, engaging, and reliable who can support their child’s development while creating a nurturing and structured environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, with a separate private studio apartment provided for the successful candidate. While the role is primarily based in Geneva, flexibility to accompany the family on occasional travel is important.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, loving care for a 2-year-old child
Encourage language development, learning, and age-appropriate milestones
Plan engaging activities, outings, and educational play
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child when needed
Maintain the child’s routines, including naps and daily schedule
Keep the child’s bedroom, play areas, and belongings organized
Support good manners, social development, and independence
Travel with the family on occasion and adapt to changing schedules when required
Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s progress and daily activities
Requirements:
Fluent Russian speaker
Previous experience caring for toddlers in a private household setting
EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit is required
Professional, dependable, and genuinely passionate about childcare
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
Flexible and willing to travel occasionally with the family
