An international family based in Fulham is seeking a warm, organised, and proactive Portuguese-speaking Nanny to join their household in a full-time live-in position. This is a long-term role for someone who genuinely enjoys being involved in children’s day-to-day lives and can bring energy, creativity, and calm structure to the home. The family follows a low-screen / no-screen approach, so they are looking for a nanny who naturally comes up with engaging after-school activities, creative play ideas, and fun plans during school holidays.
Alongside standard nanny duties, the role includes light family assistant support to help keep things running smoothly day to day. The ideal candidate is confident managing routines, takes initiative without needing to be micromanaged, and enjoys creating a positive environment where children can learn, explore, and stay active away from screens. The family is offering a private bedroom and bathroom within their home and is looking for someone who will become a trusted and reliable part of family life.
Responsibilities:
Manage all standard nanny duties and daily childcare routines
Plan creative, screen-free activities, outings, and play ideas after school and during holidays
Support homework, organisation, and age-appropriate development
Prepare children’s meals and assist with school routines
Help maintain tidy child-related spaces and organisation
Assist with light family assistant duties such as scheduling, errands, and general household coordination
Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and healthy routines
Communicate clearly with parents and adapt to the family’s lifestyle and preferences
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–7:00pm (with a 4-hour break during term time)
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom provided
Salary: £700+ per week depending on experience
