Super family need the help of a proactive and responsible nanny to look after their lovely 8 month old son as mum is returning to work. This position offers the flexibility of being able to bring your own child to work with you if you wanted and in addition you are not needed to work during 10 weeks of school holidays.
The role is purely childcare ( They also employ a cleaner) and he also attends nursery in the mornings. we are looking for someone to become an integral support to this busy family! The family also have a dog and a cat so you must be animal friendly. Ideally you will be flexible to travel with the family to their other residence in Northumberland on occasion ( or on holiday) but this is not essential. The family need someone who won’t need to take holidays during term time- you are able to take holidays during school holidays. If you have a dependent and need to bring them to work the family are open to this.
Please note this role is for a 42 week working year- 10 weeks ( During school holidays ) will not be paid.
Accommodation: Separate Own bedroom and bathroom Provided if travelling
General duties:
All childcare duties for the 8 month boy
2x per year Proxy parent ( Sunday – Wednesday)
Nursery pickups 3 days per week
Nursery duties
Family washing
Cooking for the baby
Helping with the family dog ( Friendly Labrador) and resident cat
Candidate requirements:
Must be a driver ( Car provided)
Must have experience with similar age group
33-36 hours pw Mon+Tue 1-9pm, Weds 3-9pm , Thurs 9-6pm + one late night (11pm) per week+ 2 x proxy parenting 4 days Sun-Weds per annum (Paid separately)
£18 – £20 gross per hour
