A private family on Fisher Island, Miami is seeking a highly organized and development-focused Nanny / Educator to care for their toddler. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of early childhood development and a genuine passion for creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment. A background in education (such as a former teacher transitioning into private childcare) would be an excellent fit for this role.
Responsibilities include supporting daily routines, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and independence, and providing attentive, hands-on care. The nanny will also handle meal preparation for the child and light cleaning related to childcare areas, maintaining an organized and nurturing space. The family values someone proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in guiding a toddler’s development through thoughtful interaction and play.
This is a rotational position, with live-in accommodations provided while on shift. Annual salary is in the range of $110,000–$130,000, depending on experience.
