A family in Fairfax, Virginia is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their 10-month-old child. This role is ideal for a nurturing and experienced infant nanny who has a strong understanding of feeding routines, sleep habits, safety, and key developmental milestones. The family is looking for a proactive caregiver who can create a calm, structured environment while supporting the baby’s growth through attentive, hands-on care and engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Responsibilities include maintaining a consistent daily routine with two naps per day, planning stimulating developmental play, and taking the baby to local classes and outings to encourage social interaction and exploration. The nanny will also prepare meals and bottles, assist with feeding, and manage bath time and bedtime routines. Additional duties include baby laundry and light child-related housekeeping such as tidying play areas, loading the dishwasher, wiping tables, and keeping all baby spaces clean and organised.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, approximately 40–50 hours per week.
Pay is $30+ per hour, depending on experience.
