Family in Encinitas is seeking a kind and professional nanny to join their team. Nanny will be tag teaming with another nanny and mom, so must be flexible and comfortable working as part of a team, but also be able to seamlessly transition to being alone with all 3 kids if need be. With 3 little ones, this is a very busy household, so please be energetic and able to keep up with a fast paced environment with 3 children at different stages of development. Please be very knowledgeable of ages and stages of development, milestones, redirection, choice strategies, etc. The parents prioritize family and greatly value their family time and time with their children without much interference, so we are looking for a nanny who truly understands boundaries, recognizes when to step in and out, and acts with a high level of professionalism. Kindness, integrity, and a strong moral compass is paramount to this family, so we are looking for a nanny who values and possesses those same attributes. The family follows a gentle parenting approach and nanny must be familiar with and happy to follow the same. Please be comfortable with basic cooking for children (mom usually cooks, but nanny should be able and happy to if needed or mom needs a second set of hands). Please be open to travel if needed (only on occasion and short 3ish day trip). This role guarantees 40 hours each week and schedule will be Mon-Fri 2-8 pm (with flexibility to stay late for occasional date nights) and e/o Saturday. Start date ASAP.
