Job Summary: Nanny required for two children a girl born July 2013 and a boy born August 2015. This position is a sole charge. The working hours are Monday to Friday 6.45am to 6.45pm (with down time and flexibility during the day) with one night a week (between Monday and Thursday) babysitting up to 11pm. Any overtime will be paid on top of salary. A car driver is essential, and a vehicle is available for nursery duties and a separate vehicle is given for sole use. The accommodation should this be required would consist of own bedroom and own bathroom. The family enjoy travelling so the nanny would be required to go with them and will be given as much notice as possible; locations include the USA, Europe, UK, and other Caribbean destinations. The family home is situated in the Cayman Islands, a British Territory just five minutes from the beautiful Seven Mile Beach in a contemporary residential home on an acre of land with large swimming pool and beautiful outdoor play areas and dedicated indoor playroom. The family employ a Norlander who has been with them for nearly six years and who would be happy to speak with any potential candidates.

Both children attend a local primary that follows the British education system, they are sweet, social, fun and have creative spirits. They love to paint, swim, ride their bikes, and enjoy playdates and activities. The family are looking for a long term, fun, energetic, initiative-taking, and focussed nanny that has a passion for child development and knowledge of developmental milestones who can follow the family’s routine and who is very organised with excellent communication skills as they will be required to take on all aspects of the children’s admin. The perfect nanny would be friendly and bubbly, encourage boundaries and manners with the children, supervise homework, assist with light tutoring and be a confident swimmer and good cook, who will prepare and provide healthy balanced meals. The nanny would be expected to do the school drop offs and pick-ups and any after school activities and classes. Be creative with the children whilst stimulating them socially, physically, and educationally.

The family will offer the successful candidate a £170 yearly CPD budget and 28 days’ annual leave per year.

Cooking healthy and nutritious food for the children
Candidate requirements:

The family are looking for ideally a Norland qualified nanny or degree educated, with a teaching background
A driver is essential, and a nanny car will be provided for personal and work use
The ideal candidate will be cheerful, with a positive & outgoing attitude, and keen to have fun and engage with the children
Must be a confident swimmer
Enjoys cooking healthy balanced meals
The family will sponsor the visa
