A family in DUMBO, Brooklyn is looking for a full-time nanny to care for their newborn and toddler. Their ideal candidate is someone experienced, hands-on, and genuinely engaged with young children, someone who understands early childhood development and can balance the very different needs of a baby and a toddler. The home environment is calm and loving, and they’re looking for a nanny who can help maintain that while bringing structure and consistency to the children’s days.
The role includes full care of both children: planning creative, age-appropriate activities, getting outside daily for walks and park time, and incorporating early learning and preschool-style concepts into play in a natural way. The nanny will support routines, track developmental progress, and prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks. Keeping children’s areas tidy, staying on top of toys, laundry, and general organisation is part of the day-to-day, but the focus is very much on the children and their development.
Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a pay rate of $33–$35/hour depending on experience.
