A family in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a qualified and experienced Maternity Nurse to support them with the care of their newborn baby, due in mid-June. This is a 1-month temporary contract starting at the very beginning of July.
The ideal candidate must hold formal qualifications in Midwifery, Paediatric Nursing, or Public Health Nursing, with proven experience in newborn care and postnatal support.
Responsibilities include providing overnight care 5 nights per week, working 10–12 hours per night, supporting feeding routines, sleep conditioning, settling techniques, and offering reassurance and guidance to new parents. The role requires someone calm, professional, and confident in managing all aspects of newborn care while promoting rest and recovery for the family.
