A warm and welcoming family in Dublin, CA (Alameda County) is seeking an experienced, engaged full-time nanny to care for their 4-month-old baby. This role is ideal for a nurturing caregiver who is confident with infants, enjoys being active throughout the day, and brings a calm, present energy to their work. Mom works from home and is very involved, so the family is looking for a nanny who is comfortable collaborating closely while also confidently managing the baby’s day-to-day care independently.
A Montessori-inspired approach is strongly preferred, with a focus on respectful caregiving, observing developmental cues, and supporting the baby’s natural curiosity and growth. The nanny will spend time engaging the baby during wake windows through gentle play, sensory exploration, and conversation, as well as heading out for daily walks, nearby park visits, and local story times when developmentally appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide loving, attentive infant care, including feeding, naps, and age-appropriate play

Support a flexible daily routine aligned with the baby’s developmental stages

Engage in screen-free, stimulating wake-window activities

Take the baby on walks and outings to parks and local activities

Maintain a calm, soothing, and responsive presence throughout the day

Handle child-related housekeeping, including the baby’s laundry and dishes

Tidy and organize shared spaces and baby items

Keep track of baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, and essentials
