Maternity Nurse – Dubai

A welcoming family in Dubai is seeking an experienced and compassionate Maternity Nurse to provide expert newborn care and postnatal support for first-time parents. The family values guidance, reassurance, and a well-organized approach, making this an ideal role for a professional who excels in educating and supporting new parents while delivering full newborn care.

The role is live-in, offering the opportunity to work closely with the family and help establish healthy routines during the critical early months of the baby’s life.

Key Responsibilities

Newborn Care & Development

Provide full newborn care, including feeding, settling, and monitoring the baby’s wellbeing
Establish and support feeding routines (breastfeeding and/or bottle-feeding)
Support sleep routines and implement gentle settling techniques
Maintain baby hygiene, including bathing and nappy changes
Monitor and observe developmental milestones and overall health

Parental Guidance & Education

Provide reassurance and expert guidance to first-time parents
Educate parents on newborn care, routines, and safety
Encourage confident decision-making while respecting parental preferences
Support parents in understanding sleep, feeding, and developmental cues

Environment & Collaboration

Maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing environment for both baby and parents
Work collaboratively with parents, respecting household routines and values
Assist with nursery organisation and maintaining orderly child-related spaces

Schedule & Duration
Month 1: 24/7 care (day & night support)
Months 2–3: 12 hours per day (flexible based on family needs)
Total Duration: Approximately 3 months
Start Date: July 2026

Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a Maternity Nurse or professional in newborn care
Knowledge of infant feeding, sleep routines, and postnatal support
Calm, patient, and organized
Excellent communication skills and ability to educate first-time parents
Respectful and collaborative approach
Relevant certifications (infant CPR, neonatal care) preferred
