Mandarin-Speaking Governess – Dubai (Live-Out)
A private family in Dubai is seeking an experienced and Mandarin-speaking Governess to provide high-quality, educational care for their 3-year-old daughter. This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional governess with a strong Early Years or Montessori background who is passionate about supporting early childhood development through structured learning, play, and routine.
The successful candidate will take a development-focused approach, designing and delivering age-appropriate educational activities that support language acquisition (Mandarin immersion), early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional development. Responsibilities will include planning engaging lessons and play-based learning, supporting daily routines, encouraging independence, and creating a calm, stimulating environment that nurtures curiosity and confidence. The governess will work closely with the parents to ensure consistency in values, routines, and developmental goals, while maintaining a professional, proactive, and organised approach.
This is a live-out position with no accommodation provided, suited to candidates already based in Dubai or able to secure their own housing. The role is Monday to Friday, working approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm, and offers a competitive salary of 25,000–30,000 AED per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
