A prominent family based in Dubai Festival City is seeking an experienced Native English-Speaking Nanny / Governess to join their established childcare team and support the care and development of four children aged 1 to 10 years old. The role combines hands-on childcare with educational support, making it ideal for a qualified educator who can seamlessly blend learning into everyday life.
The family is looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and highly organized, with a warm approach to childcare and a strong understanding of child development. Working closely with parents and other childcare professionals, you will help oversee daily routines, support educational goals, coordinate activities, and provide consistency across the children’s schedules. The successful candidate will be a positive role model who can build meaningful relationships with the children while maintaining the professionalism expected in a VIP household. Travel with the family will also form part of the role.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care and supervision for children aged 1–10 years
Support educational development through engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
Assist with homework, school projects, and academic enrichment
Encourage confidence, independence, good manners, and positive behavior
Manage daily routines, schedules, and transitions throughout the day
Coordinate activities, outings, appointments, and extracurricular commitments
Work collaboratively with the family’s existing childcare team
Maintain clear records, schedules, and child-related administration
Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, routines, and development
Travel with the family as required and provide continuity of care while away
Create a nurturing, stimulating, and structured environment that supports each child’s individual needs
Requirements:
Native English speaker
Degree in Education, Early Years Education, Primary Education, Psychology, or a related field
PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent teaching qualification highly desirable
Strong understanding of child development and educational best practices
Previous experience working with VIP, HNW, or UHNW families
Experience caring for multiple children across different age groups
Professional, discreet, flexible, and highly organized
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working within a fully staffed household environment
Available to travel internationally when required

Schedule: 12 hours per day, 6 days per week
Accommodation: Private apartment provided
Salary: AED 20,000+ per month, depending on experience
